The decision to euthanize your pet is the most difficult decision a pet owner will have to make. XpectaVet can help make the entire process as easy as possible for both you and your pet. By coming to your home your pet can be in a familiar and loving place in it's final moments. Saying good-bye to your long time friend should be a private and personal moment shared in the comfort of home. We want your pet to feel as peaceful as possible throughout the entire process. Many times people know that there is a special spot on the couch or a favorite corner that your their pet is the most happy. Whatever the circumstances we work with you to accommodate any special requests that can make your pet the most relaxed and at ease. We typically will give your pet a mild sedative to calm them prior to proceeding. After wards you will have as much time as you need with your pet before we transport them away for cremation or burial.
At-home pet euthanasia is the most compassionate way to say farewell to your friend. Although it is difficult to say goodbye we are here to help you through the entire process. If you are unsure if it is the right time for your friend we can help by providing a courtesy phone consultation with one of our vets to help you make the best decision possible. We also can provide hospice care for your pet to give them the best quality of life during their final days.If you have any questions or just need someone to talk to about it please don't hesitate to contact us.
"Until one has loved an animal, a part of one's soul remains unawakened." (Anatole France)
